Liliana Ramos is a medical and scientific illustrator located in Atlanta, Georgia who takes great interest in true crime documentaries, oil painting, and observing surgeries in her free time.
passionate about creating tools to help scientists and researchers visually communicate scientific topics, Liliana is a hard working illustrator that has collaborated closely with researchers in composing illustrations and animations geared towards research.
With a Bachelors of Fine Arts background in Art and Design at Georgia State university, as well as a Master of fine arts in Medical Illustration at Rochester institute of technology, Lilliana has had the opportunity to work for a variety of clients. Some of her experience includes her internship at Medical visions Inc, in which she Illustrated injuries and surgical steps for the purpose of medical legal personal injury cases and publications, as well as working with radiology reports and X-rays to illustrate the patient's condition pre- and postoperative conditions of fractures, hardware and ORIF surgeries.
She was employed at the behavioral science department at rit, where Lilliana focused on Composing illustrations and animations for research, and expressing scientific concepts through didactic illustrations for the purpose of education and visual language.
